----
I will not be able to provide any more feedback on this quiz before today's Half Exam.  I have extended the deadline for getting credit on this quiz to Friday of next week.  Please continue to practice until you can get it perfect each time!
----
I am marking this assignment as due Thursday evening (Today).  I will allow students to continue working on the assignment next week, but I can only provide feedback on responses submitted this evening for Half Exam 2..
----
We will/did NOT have a quiz in class today.  Instead, please take this practice quiz.  You may take it as many times as you wish, and ask me questions about the quiz as you take it.  Once you complete it, I will provide feedback and you can take the quiz again.  Please take the practice quiz before class if you can and haven't yet done so.

I've provided feedback on the answers in the quiz. Please let me know if you have any questions about my feedback.
----
This quiz will be graded "all or nothing".  Once I feel comfortable that you can get a perfect score, I will give you a perfect score for this quiz-like assignment. But the grade on your quiz is NOT final -- keep practicing 'til you get it perfect!  And keep asking those questions!
Please work this quiz individually, only asking me questions about it, not other students.  When you have finished a particular quiz attempt, you can talk to other students about related issues such as message encoding and parsing in general.
During each attempt, do not use any resources outside of the quiz except a pen and paper.

Unlike previous quizzes, please transcribe any work from a page into your practice quiz at the end of the quiz, as I will not be considering scratch work while grading this quiz.

We will again have a strong honor policy on this quiz.  Thank you to all of you who are being conscientious about observing this! You are building up MSOE's reputation.

You may use the next_byte() method and not write the implementation if that helps! (But do write the implementation of any other helper methods you use.)
